Our children are living in an increasingly complex and hostile world and their ultimate success in every part of their lives will be determined by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

We (the church, parents) need to teach them about the truths of the Holy Spirit which will be a foundation for their future interaction with the Holy Spirit.

AGES: 2-5 YEARS

Story time: Read Acts 2: 14- 41 out loud to them.
Praise: Learn the new song - Holy Spirit for children with Ayi the cow.
 
Craft activity: Trinity Triangle
•Cut up 3 equal length strips of paper or cupboard to make a triangle.
•Ask someone to help you write God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit individually on each of the strips of paper.
•Colour each of them in using different colors and then paste the edges together in the shape of a triangle.

Application:
Ask them who is the Holy Spirit?  Allow them to answer (Matthew 3:16).

AGES: 6-13 YEARS

• Read the scriptures more than 2 times for a good understanding.
• Ask the kids to mention a few movies, cartoons, video games, etc. that involve superpowers. 
• Allow a response from kids (pay close attention to their responses so that you will be able to engage and introduce the lesson properly).
• Your aim should be to facilitate a child's desire for the Holy Spirit than powers that are displayed in cartoons, movies, etc.

3. What people thought after seeing the disciples filled with the Holy Spirit?

6. Find 3 verses which speak about the Holy Spirit and write it down
7. What signs where displayed when the disciples were filled with the holy Spirit in the upper room (Say them in order)
8. Do you desire to speak in tongues?

TAKE AWAY

The Holy Spirit is a gift from God to everyone. You need to desire Him, to invite Him to your life.
You must pray and believe that you have received the Holy Spirit.
You must thank God for giving you the Holy Spirit.
