Every gift is important before God. The Holy Spirit is the one who gives gifts to everyone. We should not laugh at other people’s gifts or look down on them.

AGES: 2-5 YEARS

Story time: Read 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 out loud to them. Tell them about a gift that you have received and how you used the gift.  
Praise: Learn the new song - Holy Spirit for children with Ayi the cow .
 
Craft activity: Gifts of the Holy Spirit 
• Help them to wrap a box up like a gift. Label the box “The gifts and the Holy Spirit”.
• Place pieces of paper labelled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit – knowledge, wisdom, discernment, prophecy, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, faith, miracles and healing.
• To the best of your ability explain what these gifts are to the child and try to give examples.
Application:
• Ask your child which gifts of the Holy Spirit they would like to have. They can choose more than one. Allow them to answer..

• Allow the kids to mention the parts of their body and their functions.
• Draw facial features (nose, ear, mouth, etc.)
