Trust in God and His word (His word does what it says). Jesus' power is greater than the power of this world. Jesus' power is in US (For greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world -1 John 4:4). God always has our best interest at heart.

Story time: Read Matt 8:5-13 out loud to them.

Prayer: Pray that God may heal someone you know who is sick. Allow them to repeat the prayer after you.

Craft activity:
• Help your children to make paper dolls to remind them that the centurion asked Jesus to heal his servant OR
• Help your children to design a Roman Centurion’s helmet and allow them to wear it.

Application:
• In the story we see that Jesus is bigger than any sickness.
• Tell your children about a time when you were sick and how God healed you.
