“Maximising the meaning of Christmas is to embrace God’s grace and love, to receive His glory and to give ourselves in full surrender for global proclamation for the salvation of humanity”

 

1. God’s grace and love extends to the whole of humanity

a. We were dead in our trespasses, lost in darkness and far from God.

Isaiah 9:2

b. God’s love manifested to the whole of humanity.

John 3:16; Isiah 9:6; 1 John 4:9-10

c. We were undeserving – Grace found us and brought us back to God.

 

2. God’s glory bestowed on unlikely human beings

John 1:14; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Colossians 3:4; Isaiah 6:3

 

3. God’s global call to a life of service for salvation of humankind.

a. Jesus came to Earth

-Died

-Rose from the dead

To offer everyone eternal life
