Counselor means the one who gives advice, who warns, guides in the way you should follow and instructs you on what should be done or not be done. There is good counsel and it comes from the Holy Spirit. If you follow His counsel you will be blessed. How does God speak to us ?

Solomon asked for wisdom not because he didn’t have any need but because of the purposes of God. When we say time of renewal, we are renewing ourselves so that we may begin to think the thoughts of God and challenge that which makes us sad when we do not have. Everything in life is about God. Solomon understood that if I have to do life in a fulfilled manner, it must be about God.
