Gratitude is a response to the graciousness, blessing of provision and abundance, even if our own work played a major role in generating our wealth. Gratitude closes the gap between your imagined life and your given life. We must cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously, because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.
The natural tendency for a human being is to feel blessed when they receive a gift. You cannot separate righteousness from giving and generosity.
Generosity is God's nature. What you give to God's work, you will receive it back one day. If you give your life to God, you will receive back true life from God. God will fulfill His promises over your life. Abundance is the last process of the process of sowing. Many want to start at the abundance phase before they sow any seed. Abundance can become a death trap if you allow it to affect your relationship with God.
Abundance is God's vision for you.
Everything starts in the Word of God. The Word of God is a seed. No matter how small the seed is, the seed (Word of God) contains everything you need. In every seed, there is divine power. The Word of God does not leave you where it found you. It takes you from glory to glory.
Gratefulness is an act given to those who have understood the Gospel. It is very rare to find people who acknowledge the people who have helped them to be where they are. The Church is a glorious entity that God has chosen to advertise the glory of His name on earth. The current biggest problem of the Church is that we recite what God wants us to do but do what the devil wants us to do.Gratitude is to acknowledge that the Word of God is able to bring back hundred fold what you have given.
Thanksgiving is different from speaking about being thankful. Your grateful heart is matched by your actions. Gratitude is the result of a seed. Our entire life on earth begins with a seed. A seed only becomes a seed when it has been sown. If it's not sown, it is food. Food never produces, only a seed can produce fruit when it has been sown.
Thanksgiving is not an abstract or loosely existing idea. It is relational and is driven by love and not compliance. It is a response to a benefit or an act of kindness. Biblical Reasons for Thanksgiving: 1) It is a command (1 Chr. 16:8). It is an act of obedience that leads to righteousness. 2) It is a password into God’s presence
(Ps. 95:2). You cannot murmur, complain and worship at the same time. 3) It is a response to God’s goodness (Ps. 107:21-22). 4) It is the believer’s lifestyle
(Phil. 4:6; Col. 4:2). It is a way of life. What is the cause for your gratitude to God? There has to be a purpose to practice obedience through thanksgiving. Always use the password of thanksgiving into His presence.
Thanksgiving is extending one's hand to appreciate God for what he has done and for who he is. Extension of hands is a reflection of what is in the heart. Foundational principles of thanksgiving: 1) It is relational (Psalm 79:13). 2) It is objective. It is not ambiguous, it is has a goal and a reason (Psalm 106:1). 3) It is free-willed - it is not forced but rather spontaneous (Leviticus 22:29). Hence we need to be clear about our personal relationship with God and heavenly register needs to be updated so that as we bring our thanksgiving it is registered in heaven. Secondly, be clear and precise about the reason for thanksgiving. Lastly, we need to remember to give thanks out of free-will.
When God chooses to walk with someone the state they are in does not matter. For there is something about God that is different to man. God always looks at the positive side. Thanksgiving is a function of relationship and accrued value out of that relationship. Tenacity of the love of God: 1) God perfects what he begins (Phil 1:16; Psalm 138:8). Christian faith is always under construction. 2) His love is persistent, pursuing and tireless (Exo 3:4; Judges 6:11-24). God loves even when there is no reason to. 3) God selection is sovereign (1 Cor 1:2-29; Judges 6:15). Walking with God is not about who you are but who you are with. God is always looking for what is best. Brokenness and failure need not to be final
Gratefulness and honour is how we show the world how much we love God. Showing gratitude has so many proven benefits - physical, mental, and emotional. Benefits of being grateful: 1) Gratefulness increases favour with God. 2) Gratefulness attracts God's blessings, wealth and riches from God. 3) Grateful gives a sense of peace and belonging. 4) Gratefulness challenges the heart of God Towards you, your family, work and businesses. 5) Gratefulness Makes God to give you long life so you can help other people. When we are grateful, we demonstrate humility and our dependency on God.
