Jesus came from humble beginnings as a template sent from heaven to inspire us. He always showed that people matter more than any programme. Jesus left His position and authority in order to prove that people are important. People are more important than structure.  

Some do not want to be Christ-like because it will cause us to do controversial things. Jesus did not do things for controversy but to perfect the law - to show that people matter most to God.

Moving from a community to a city church we shall expect:

• • Growth
  • Increased responsibility "ability to respond"
  • Increased visibility

As a church and individuals we have to know that:

• • Change is coming- if He says it, it will happen.
  • Preparation is essential
  • Deliberate effort is required to become Christ-like (exposure to scriptures, infusing prayer…)
