Series: You’ve got to become a diamond

Key Vereses: Psalms 127; Mark 4:41; Hebrews 2:5-11; 1 John 4:17

Every time Jesus wanted something/ wanted to achieve success it just lined up with his will. (You can become the kind of man described in Mark 4; if Jesus can do it, so can you in faith).  How can I achieve the desired outcome whenever it is desired?

God gave us glory and honour, and then gave us Jesus to make us perfect. Then now we should be like Jesus glorified.

Men were created for glory and honour. Glory means heavy weight, when you carry a heavy weight you will feel it.  The bible says God can not share his glory with anyone but yet he is calling us for glory, how do you reconcile this? The answer is simple: we are the body and the bride of Christ; and as such we have the right to partake in his glory. Honour in the bible is always connected to material things. When the bible speaks about honouring parents, it means from time to time give them something. What this means, is that he has placed within us the ability to attract things that will sustain us. In one line honour and glory can be defined as Divine presence and anointed attraction. Because we have the same blood that runs in Jesus then the life of glory and honour is ours.

Jesus came to show us how to live an honourable life and how it looks like. On this earth we shall live with glory and honour like Jesus did no matter what the outer part of life looks like. Ezekiel in exile and prisoner sees vision and the word of God came to him. The word didn't wait for him to be ok but it came in the midst of the mess he was going through. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego didn't deny the fire they were thrown it but believed that the fire didn't have any power over them.  In fact the fire became a meeting place to have the conversation with the Lord. In life what you know doesn't matter much but who you know. With the hand of God upon you, your life changes completely. Centre everything on God. When God's glory is upon you, you cannot be ignored.

Ezekiel 1:1-20

God chose Ezekiel in the land of Babylon where he was exiled. Regardless of the trying conditions that he was in, Ezekiel could see heaven. There are four elements that took place Ezekiel 1:1-20:

  • Heavens opened
  • He saw visions of God
  • He was exiled
  • The word of the Lord came upon him

With these elements God was trying to show Ezekiel that if you do what I'm telling you. You'll achieve miracles; and in order to achieve miracles you need to have many faces.

You will never walk like Jesus walked (he could receive help from heaven whenever he wanted it, he was functioning in another dimension) unless you learn to become like a diamond. If you believe, you will see the glory of God and see His different dimensions changing to solve the problems of man. We have got to unlock all the four dimensions: man, lion, ox and eagle (Ezekiel 1:10).
