You can expand your sphere of dominion if you can only develop a great mentality (being willing both to work and wage war). How to take charge of what is yours - 1) Crank up your efforts to get things done instead of making empty claims. Real greatness has nothing to do with your claims (Genesis 26:12-14; 1 Samuel 17:4-11). 2) Cease complaining, being slothful as well as coward. Some signs of small mentality: a) Being crippled because of some rich and powerful relations, b) Being indolent, c) Being proud or arrogant, and d) Magnifying every difficulty and danger. 3) Cultivate a Great Mentality. A great mentality leads to great gains. a) Assess your real assets, b) Improve what you already have, c) Courageously take some calculated risks, d) Be brave enough to tackle any obstacle, and e) Be diligent in the pursuit of your God given vision.

Contending for what we have of value with all that we have is one of the first rules of life. Our Christian Faith is so valuable that it’s worth protecting and fighting for. Christian Faith (a worldview) is the body of what we hold to be true; which affect the way we interpret and interact with our world. Our Christian Faith is what gives impetus to our Salvation Experience. 1) Contend for THE FAITH - protect and preserve the essential truths of the gospel is our paramount responsibility as Christians. 2) Confronted with a dangerous situation. The destructive influence of unsuspected ungodly characters in our midst. The danger of coming short of God’s best for us. Unbelief and empty religion; pursuit of selfish interests motivated by greed and; Desire for power and disregard of God’s appointed order of things, leading to rebellion. 3) Combat strategically. Remember the Word. Keep praying in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit. 4) Confident in the keeping power of God.
If God did the unthinkable for us when we were undeserving, try to imagine what He can do for us now that we’re citizens with His people and members of His household. 1) Alienated from God - Worldliness (concerned with material values or ordinary life rather than a spiritual existence). 2) Made alive by God’s grace. Five gracious acts of God; Blessed (with all the benefits of knowing Him) John 8:31-32; 17:3, Chosen (for greatness) (1 Peter 2:9-10); Predestined for adoption (Hebrews 2:5-11), Redeemed (from the empty way of life handed down to us by the culture we’ve been brought up in). 1 Peter 1:17-19, Enlightened, John 9:25 .3. 3) Empowered by Grace. Three forces to live by; Faith, Hope and Love. 4) Given full access to the mystery of Christ. Through (because of) Christ, the Captain of our Salvation, we have access to God’s best. Because God can do far more than you think; venture more on his power and love, less on your plans and strategies. In order to flow in the supernatural we need to adjust: our picture of God, our understanding of the power of God over the church, and our appreciation of the love of God, in Christ, for the church
Our Christian Humanity is: anchored to Jesus Christ the
ultimate reality. Which gives
us markers that help locate our salvation. It is located in our shared salvation as well as our common humanity. Expressed by being God’s instrument
supernaturally capacitated to
reach our generation with His
love. Christianity as a way of life is counter-cultural in at least four
major areas: attitude, motives, priorities and values. Yet, our Sovereign Lord has entrusted us with the noblest mission to reach and win the world with His love. We have been made victorious: when we got born-again. When we decided to take the word seriously. The best and most fulfilling life is that of love and obedience. "When the cause is big enough the cost is irrelevant” - Dr. Ramesh Richard. And lastly when we chose to walk by faith rather than by sight. Faith in God gives us capacity to overcome the world.
Landmarks bring meaning and expression to our Christian Humanity. Landmarks should never be equated to boundaries. Boundaries can be moved for the glory to God. 1) We are God’s instruments in this present age. We must be usable instruments - be global citizens and thinkers that are able to move boundaries. For life to be renewed, God needs man for it to happen. 2) We must reach this World with the Word. The only seed that brings the life of God is the Word. It is when the Word comes into contact with the world the world changes. 3) We need to be supernaturally capacitated. In order for us to successfully study the culture and context of where we live.

Our Christian humanity is Anchored in Jesus Christ because he is: The ultimate reality, The only God-Man
& The real source of inspiration. Our Christian humanity is Located in: Our shared Salvation & Our common humanity. Our Christian humanity must maintain critical landmarks in order to give it meaning and expression. Five markers of location: Scripture alone, Faith alone, Grace alone, Christ alone & Glory of God alone. Disturbances of location:
Agnosticism, Rationalism, Formalism & Humanism. Landmarks unlike boundaries should never be moved. Our Christian humanity must never turn these wonderful landmarks into boundaries.

Christian life is never by convenience but always by commitment. Drifting away is a real danger to anyone who will not commit to anchor his life on something solid - primarily the consequence of ignorance and neglect. One then becomes an easy prey to the winds and the waves caused by our biggest foes; the world, the flesh, and the devil. Our salvation was secured by a great Saviour at a great cost from a great penalty. Our Christian Humanity: 1. Finds its root in the fact that our Lord Jesus is the ultimate reality 2. Finds its meaning in the fact that our Lord Jesus is fully God and fully man 3. Finds its expression in the fact that our Lord Jesus is the perfect example and inspiration
Real christian faith must find expression in real life. The challenge of the Christian faith is to show zeal for the Christian mandate. It's only when God anoints you that you will live supernaturally. How do you honor the Gospel? By becoming the gospel and good news. The surest ground for our success lies in the enabling power of the Holy Spirit which allows us to be ENERGIZED, STABILIZED and OVERFLOWING
Personal experience with the Christ makes it impossible for one to remain the same; not only one is completely saved but one becomes a complete servant of God. Reality of life necessitates the presence of God. The presence of Christ is attracted by openness, desire, and a welcoming attitude. Reacting appropriately to Christ’s touch will result in even more lives being changed. Serving Christ is a wonderful evidence of being restored to spiritual health; because the end of salvation is service.
