One way to evaluate spiritual maturity is by looking at the choices we - the way people live will tell you their level of spiritual maturity. "Faith" - is strong and vigorous trust based on the character and capacity of God. The struggle of many christians is that they do not know God. God is always moved when He sees you trust Him implicitly. The perseverance of faith is an essential nature of spiritual maturity. The greatest resources on which you can depend to hold onto your faith are God's character and God's capacity
There will always be a reason for someone to not give up – once you remove that reason, the person will give up. Every time you find yourself alone or people leave you, this is a sign from God that “You can do it!” Blessed be the name of the LORD for those that have abandoned you because they gave you the ability to be stronger than what you think. 1. He delivers us from death – He is the manager of my life, my life is in His hands. The last word upon my life is from Him. 2. He delivers our eyes from tears – if you belong to God, your life must not be a life of tears. 3. He delivers our feet from falling – All the people who do not love you set traps on your path. God sends a word that prevents you from falling
You can never be committed to God fully or committed to wealth fully. Lord – Yahweh Adonai. Where you choose to invest your trust decides where you end up or how you end up in life. We end up being what we are because of the choices we make. The Power of the name – Names are used to distinguish, describe (define), associate nature, character or attributes. Some of us do not know how to maximise the name of the Lord – God is powerful. God is just not Yahweh, He is Yahweh Adonai. Never neglect the power of a name – it opens or closes doors (opportunities). God is a faithful God. As you mature, begin to make dangerous prayers – God’s word is truth, he can never lie. God is not moved about your current situation, He is sure about His power.
The word of God
sets us apart.
The word of God
Acting on the word of
God is a declaration of faith
• Giving is saying no to debt,
poverty and lack.
• When we give, we position
ourselves for prosperity
Adjustment is key christians - when a season starts or finishes, you adjust. We need to be where God wants us to be so that we receive full blessings. God will keep His word no matter the circumstances - He is not a man so He will never lie. What you have been going through will come to an end because God is doing a new thing in your life. You need to desire new things to happen in your life. God expects us to desire new things from Him; He expects new things to happen in your life. Having God in your life is all you need - All you need is in God. Revival is bridging the gap between God and Man. For you to grow effectively, revival must occur. Can revival happen by design? Can you trigger revival in your life?
Throughout generations, God has always scattered His people as seeds to respond to the needs of His humanity. As seeds in Gods' hands we don't have to choose where God must plant us but to go where He is scattering us to. It's not by chance that you are where you are today, it is His plan for your life. The church exists to do what matters to God.
What kind of people does God us to fulfill His purpose?
The scattered community (Acts 8:4-8)
1. People shaped by the word of God (Jeremiah 20:7-9)
2. People filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts1:8)
3. People strengthened by faith (Matthew 17:18-20)
4. People energized through prayer (Acts 4:31)
5. People compelled by love (2 Corinthians 5:14-20)
What Really is going on in our city?
- City life has always a dark side to it
- The church must not be ignorant of its mandate in the city
- The church must be discerning the real issues in the city.
Where to from here?
- The church must move from praise to proclamation
- From ministry to mission
Trust is tied to obedience and obedience brings blessings. The center of gravity in human life is God, if you remove God from the equation of life society will be doomed.
Humanity is suffering from - "The vanity of idolatry."
To place confidence in the wisdom, power, or character of any man which ought to be placed in God only.

The reason why you are here is because of your journey towards accomplishment. The end of something is the beginning of something. Without the end, there is no beginning. The end justifies the beginning. It is the end that justifies the story. The past and the present have no meaning if there is no end. Your life is not a nightmare; God had a beautiful dream of you. The devil has the photo, but God has the video - He knows the end of the story of your life. You have something that may seem like that is what you want. But we have a God who knows exactly what we want and need - even the needs we cannot name. Our circumstances do not determine the way God works - He will impose himself in the circumstances and situations and He will fulfil His will.

You cannot remain stagnant - you need to grow. Growth is a choice and is intentional - you need to do certain things to help you grow. Some effort needs to be put to see results. God wants us to grow and be mature. There needs to be evidence of spiritual growth
When you face seemingly impossible situations, where do you turn to? 1. Run to Jesus - "Run to Him and call on Him because He alone has the POWER" 2. Total Reliance upon on Him - "In the midst of chaos, trouble, uncertainty, fear, despair, He will rise in POWER and AUTHORITY to command the situation back to order" 3. Fix your eyes on Him - "As we focus on Him, all else come into focus"
