Other gods can fall and be taken into captivity; but not our God who can never be taken into captivity. Why trust in a god made with human hands and given a name by humans? Our God is an almighty God who will never be knocked out or shattered. What ever you are seeking our God has it all. He is in control and in charge of your life. God will take care of you and He has done since you were conceived
The Christian view of life affirms that effective-living and fulfilment in life are the results of understanding and adopting “the mind of Christ”. The mind of Christ: his attitude, viewpoint, consciousness. Our Lord Jesus went from Sovereign to Servant to Supreme Sovereign because of his attitude to life.
Reaching out to Individuals and Households has always been fundamental in God’s Salvation plan. If we truly understood our mandate as the church, every person we related with would be our mission field. Curry Blake said: “If your Gospel isn’t touching others, it hasn’t touched you”.
Numbers 14:24 " But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it" Each of of us has a divine destiny in our lives. God did not only save us from sin, He saved us to a destiny- It is not enough to be saved from sin, you need to be saved into your destiny. There is a 'Canaan' place of destiny for all of us to reach
Whether at an individual level or community level, true fulfillment can only find its full expression in divine purpose and destiny
"As you travel daily, travel with the idea that it could be the last day – Be God conscious as you travel. This is a season were we have to be more and more aware of the things around us – Adjust to the reality that these are the end times. The world might be in charge but not in control – Heaven rules! The world might provide leadership and expertise but it is unable to take us to our destination – Only God can take us to our destination."
In a society where hopelessness has led scores of
people to self-destruction; Christian hope (that
positive outlook to life as far as the future is
concerned based on the person of Christ, a past,
and his promise) stands as the sure and secure
anchor for humanity
The situation you are in is not to bring you down but to lift you up. There is a level of praise that is propelled by pain. You can be in a prison but free. Paul and Silas were in prison but free to praise. It is in the midnight hour that you see the greatness of God and are exposed to more that he can do. However you need to realize that God is sovereign, God is love, God is wise and you need to know who you have believed and trust in Him. As He has called you, all things will work together for your good for you love and trust him. You are never in prison to break you but to build and liberate you. God loves you.
To be fruitful with God does not only start from accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior, it also begins when you decide to be a partner with God.
You can be a child of God but not moving with God.
Lydia decided to be where the Holy Spirit was despite her social status. Where she needed to be she was at the right time. When God prompted her to generosity she was found. God uses us differently and those who become successful are those who are moving with the instructions of the Holy Spirit. Generosity is an act of love as God loved us that He gave His only son Jesus. He was showing us how the Gospel operates.
Let us walk like Lydia and generously give and be willing to advance the kingdom of God with our talents, time and treasure. For where your treasures are that is where your heart is.
God bless you all
We need to learn to see the world's desperation as God sees it. We are often relaxed because we do not see with a heart of compassion. Relationships or unions that produce useful results for the Kingdom of God are very rare in the world today. What is required for a fruitful partnership for God's Kingdom?
1. See correctly
2. Reach the correct conclusion
