We've come to the place

Hits: 775
Whether at an individual level or community level, true fulfillment can only find its full expression in divine purpose and destiny

 weve come to the place

Key lessons from Paul’s last days:

1. Every step God’s people take is divinely designed to lead to “the place”

Acts 21:30; 23:20-23; 27:27, 39-41

2. In reality God’s people can only be prisoners of his will

Acts 20:22-24; 2 Corinthians 5:13-15; John 17:4

3. God’s people reach “the place”:

Acts 20:22-24; 2 Corinthians 5:13-15; John 17:4
- In response to prayer (Romans 1:9-10)
- Through patient trust in divine providence (Psalm 37:23; Acts 19:21)
- In fulfilment of the promises of God (Acts 9:15-16; 23:11; 27:21-25)

4. God’s people primary responsibility when they come to “the place” is to build the church and reach the city

Isaiah 62:1, 6 Psalm 24:1; Daniel 4:26 Ephesians 4:1-3; 6:10; Philippians 1:21; 4:4-8; Colossians 1:27-29

Paul managed to reach and penetrate the city of Rome through (Daniel7:7):
- Strong determination
- Godly zeal (daring enterprise)
- Maximizing on favouring opportunities
- Sharp mental discernment and wise judgement
